Stephanie...

by jake ()

Stephanie is the director of Water Angels, but just one of the volunteers. She leads classes during the week, works with individuals to obtain State ID's, job leads, apartment leads, deposit referrals, and furniture. We need help in all areas to keep her sane! If you can help in any way, please email thewaterangels@gmail.com

We are so blessed to have Kathy part of our Water Angel team! Kathy Campbell is in charge of our clothing ministry. Kathy accepts donations at Water Angels on Tuesday-Thursday from 9-2 PM, or by appointment.

Jeff

by jake ()

I'm very thankful for having a very supportive husband and family. Jeff jokingly says that he is the bus driver, however he does quite a bit. He helps pray with people to receive Christ, he baptizes, he is our sound guy, security guy, and bus driver! He could also use some help! If you would like to help Jeff out a bit, please email him at jtm6381@charter.net

Jenna

by jake ()

Thanks to Rocky Hill Baptist Church, we have a finished room for the children in the basement equipped with games, books, tables/chairs, and many other things!   My daughter, Jenna came to me several years ago and wanted to preach on a Sunday!!!  I told her she was too young, and she proved me wrong,  again!  She took over the teaching job for the children's area to anywhere from 5-20 children, some older than her.  The kids love her, and she loves them!  If you would like to help provide the craft, or help out, please email thewaterangels@gmail.com

Prayer...

by jake ()

Prayer Team:
Each week, the homeless write out their prayer requests, and I send them out via email. If you would like to be added to our email distribution list, please let me know. thewaterangels@gmail.com

Furniture...

by jake ()

Furniture Team:
We always need strong arms & backs to help out with this team. We do need anyone interested in helping us move furniture to those who just move into an apartment. We normally help people move in Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11-1 PM. If you have a truck, that would be great- but not necessary. Please email Stephanie at

thewaterangels@gmail.com

Homeless outreach

by jake ()

Homeless Outreach Team:
This team works with the homeless one on one. We witness to them the importance in God in their life, and then assist them when God opens a door for rehab, job, or housing. We know that their walk is a spiritual battle, and once they accept Jesus as their savior, the victor is theirs! If you are interested in helping out with this team, please contact Stephanie Mitchum at thewaterangels@aol.com

Food Pantry

by jake ()

We do have 6 food pantries each year open to all in low-income housing. We need volunteers who are willing to work beside the homeless, provide lunch for all volunteers (approx. 25), and/or help us carry door to door. We also have an emergency food pantry room for those who are in need on Sundays. We do open these doors twice a month. We need volunteers who would be willing to work this area on Sundays from 3-4. If you are interested, in either, please email thewaterangels@gmail.com

Our Weekly Volunteers...

by jake ()

We have so much to do during the week Tuesday-Thursday from 9-2:30, and we are so grateful for the homeless who help! We certainly couldn't be ready for Sunday without each of you. If anyone else would like to help, we definitely need more volunteers to sort & organize donations, stock shelves, clean, and prepare for Sundays service.
